How to use greenery in your home

Though the magic of a fresh paint job will always be second to none for us, sometimes all a space needs is a touch of greenery to give it a second life. If you’ve never worked with greenery before, there’s no need to worry at all. Remember, there are no wrong decisions with plants, there’s only wonderful and perfect.

Hanging plants

A hanging plant is an excellent addition to any shelf. Not only does it act as the perfect bookend to your décor, it adds a feeling of spontaneity without the need to pick up a paintbrush.

Healthy roots

If you’re after a clean, spacious look for your living room, then large swathes of white with hints of pastel is the perfect way to go. And the pièce de résistance of the whole affair would be potted plants on every table. Try pairing your plants with tables that have copper legs, or paint them in a soft palette yourself over a weekend.

Sleep under a canopy

There’s no reason your new potted friends can’t find a home in your bedroom. For such a personal space, it might better to steer clear of large and overhanging plants, and experiment with smaller, more manageable plants like succulents and cacti.
