We know it sounds simple, but if you have the right storage options for your things, it makes it a lot easier to keep your home clutter-free. Storage does not need to be a box; there are modern looks such as geometric shaped floating shelves, or copper baskets to put your odds and ends in.
It is much easier to work out the best place for items when looking at the full collection. If you have them spread over different spaces and rooms, it creates confusion on where to find particular items or where to put them back. For example, if you have a fair bit of stationary around the house, try and keep it to your study area or nook.
Each facet of a living space should contain no more than a single focal piece, whether it is a favourite chair, a piece of artwork, or a distinct textile like on a rug. So pick a hero piece and then take away any furniture or objects that detract from it and you’ll quickly loose the clutter and noise from a space.
A new storage option that has made creating more space a breeze, is floating shelves and drawers that in turn give the appearance of more space. You have room for plugs to go on underneath, and de-clutters the floor space.
